We are looking for an excellent, Director In Training, to prepare to lead the operations of Kiddie Academy Seattle, WA, at our high-quality early childhood education program. This is an excellent opportunity to grow into the Director role and manage a center. You will have access to excellent training and mentorship.

Position Overview:

You will be part of the management team responsible for managing the overall program including human resource development, staff scheduling, program planning, program implementation and evaluation; student assessments, family relations, marketing, enrollments and academy operations.

Position Requirements:

·        Minimum two (2) years of full time experience in managing center-based programs in an Assistant Director, Center Director or similar management role.

·        Candidates should have all credentials required for the position of a Center Director per WAC or be willing to get them shortly after joining

·        A thorough knowledge of WA Licensing regulations (WACs) for child care centers and a great understanding of developmentally-appropriate practices

·        Must have at least an AA degree in child care or management, or related field.

·        Strong verbal and written communication skills

·        Action oriented, organized, strategic thinker, focused on getting the right things done
