Position Overview: As a Center Director, you will be part of the management team responsible for managing the overall program including human resource development, staff scheduling, program planning, program implementation and evaluation; student assessments, family relations, marketing, enrollments and academy operations.

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum two (2) years of full-time experience in managing large (>100 capacity) center-based programs in a Center Director role.
  • Candidates should have all credentials required for the position of a Center Director per WAC or be willing to get them shortly after joining
  • A thorough knowledge of WA Licensing regulations (WACs) for childcare centers and a great understanding of developmentally appropriate practices
  • Must have at least an AA degree in childcare or management, or related field.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Action oriented, organized, strategic thinker, focused on getting the right things done
