Who we are:

We are a franchise group (KAGS) of locally owned early childhood education academies in the Greater Seattle area. Our group owns and operates the Kiddie Academy locations in Bellevue, Bothell, Kirkland, Mill Creek, Kenmore and Seattle.

 

Position Overview:

As a Center Director, you will be part of the management team responsible for providing leadership support to our locations. This includes leading academy operations, program oversight, team development, family relations, marketing, and enrollment building.

You may also lead efforts to support opening of new locations in the Greater Seattle region by building a team, working with DCYF licensing, planning and equipping the new school, and supporting marketing and enrollment strategies. 

 

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum two (2) years of full time experience in managing center-based programs in a Center Director or similar management role.
  • Candidates should have all credentials required for the position of a Center Director per WAC or be willing to get them shortly after joining
  • A thorough knowledge of WA Licensing regulations (WACs) for child care centers and a great understanding of developmentally-appropriate practices
  • Must have at least an AA degree in child care or management, or related field.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Action oriented, organized, strategic thinker, focused on getting the right things done
